The Menu

Start off with a popular Malaysian deep fried snack of vegetables and shrimp coated in crispy batter served with homemade sweet chili sauce, Cucur Udang (Prawn Fritters). Try native favourites such as the Roti Canai, flatbread served with dhal and sambal or the Nasi Goreng Kampung of classic Malay fried rice, crackers, fried chicken, fried egg and salad.

The range of rice on menu is sure to make many a patron ravenous and ready to dig in. Try the Nasi Lemak, a popular breakfast dish in Malaysia cooked up with fragrant coconut rice, served with sambal in choices of prawn, mutton or fried chicken, along with fried anchovies, peanuts and fresh cucumber slices. The noodle soup Nyonya Laksa, ‘Santai Colombo’s’ signature dish, a cocktail of eggplant in special sambal sauce and sides, such as the mutton or vegetarian Rendang, slow cooked in an array of fragrant spices, coconut milk and caramelised coconut flakes are enticing choices.

Desserts such as the Apam Balik, a Malaysian style pancake turnover served with roasted peanuts and creamy corn, the Ice Kachang, a combo of shaved ice, rose syrup and sweet accompaniments, the scoops of homemade fruit ice creams with fresh fruit salad and rose jelly or a choice of cheesecake, are perfect to bring the meal to a sweet and tasteful finish.

Drinks refresh by way of Cold Pressed juices in an array of fruit flavours, Mocktails, Coffee, Tea, Milo, Ice Cream Floats and the King Coconut.
