The Menu

In a celebration of prized Asian recipes, the treasured crabs sourced from the ocean waters of Negombo meet exotic culinary blends, such as Fresh Herbs, Turmeric, Kashmir Chili, Garam Masala and Mustard Oil; whilst being Baked, Fried, Steamed or Braised. Coconut and bread crumb-coated Mud Crab Cakes, crispy Crab Pakoras and Crab Cocktails tickle one’s taste buds. Luscious Sri Lankan Crab Curry, Black Pepper Coconut Crab, Kerala Crab Curry and herb-marinated Tandoori Crab sit alongside Naan and Roast Paan (a traditional local bread type). The seafood trove also pays tribute to cherished Lobster, Prawn and Cuttlefish dishes.

The Experience

Located at the ‘Taj Samudra’, the ‘Crab Factory’ mixes Indian charm with timber walled interiors. The restaurant’s warm colour palette creates a welcoming atmosphere while bright, crab-inspired wall arts establish its gastronomic theme.
